At Ecevest S.A. (hereinafter "Ecevest", "we", or "the Platform"), with registered address at Av. República de El Salvador N36-84, Quito, Ecuador, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our users in accordance with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and other applicable regulations.

We collect the following personal data: • Identification data: full name, national ID or passport number, email address. • Contact data: phone number, postal address. • Financial data: information necessary to process investments and payments, transaction history on the platform. • Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, cookies (see our Cookie Policy). • Data voluntarily provided through contact forms: name, email, and message.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your personal data to: • Manage your registration and account on the platform. • Process investment operations and return payments. • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (SRI tax regulations, anti-money laundering). • Send you communications related to your investments and platform operations. • Improve our services through website usage analysis. • Respond to your inquiries made through the contact form.

5. Data retention period
We retain your personal data for the duration of your active account on Ecevest and, subsequently, for the period required by applicable Ecuadorian legislation (generally between 7 and 10 years for financial and tax records). Browsing data is retained for a maximum of 26 months.
6. Your rights
In accordance with the LOPDP, you have the right to: • Access your personal data. • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data. • Delete your data when no longer necessary for the original purpose. • Object to processing in certain circumstances. • Request the portability of your data. • Revoke your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, send an email to privacidad@ecevest.com with your request and a copy of your identification document.
7. International data transfers
Ecevest may use third-party services located outside Ecuador (hosting services, web analytics). In such cases, we ensure that adequate protection measures are in place in accordance with Article 39 of the LOPDP, including standard contractual clauses and equivalent levels of protection.
8. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, including SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access controls, and periodic security audits.
